Summary
This novel is quite popular so I'm not sure a summary is necessary xD
It's a story about unconditional love over hundreds of years, transcending every hardship and every obstacle, about gods who ascend and fall... and sometimes re-ascend. It's also a story about powerful ghosts, dark secrets and terrible fates, some moments of despair, but also strong friendships, hope and faith.
Review
After reading the 7 Seas version in English last September, I decided to read the revised version on jjwxc. It was my second long webnovel in Chinese and it was by no means easy, but thanks to the power of Yomitan I prevailed and made it to the end :3 I was very pleasantly surprised with this version, I largely prefer it to the previous one. Most of the flaws I remembered in the narration, with some events being too long or some side characters having too much spotlight at some point, were smoothed out and made better. There were also some things added which blended nicely with the rest. 100% recommend! I'm overall very happy to have spent 7 months following along 谢怜 and 花城.
